| Another reason
businesses and individuals join the chamber is to take advantage
of the many benefits the chamber offers exclusively to our membership.
Among the benefits of chamber membership are the following:

The chamber offers excellent health insurance through USI Affinity Insurance Service. You may contact USI Affinity through their website – www.usiaffinity.com/npcc – or by calling a representative at 1-800-265-2876 ext. 6.
Health insurance is the cornerstone of all chamber benefits. Our plan is administered by USI Affinity Insurance Service, who also manages similar plans statewide for the Pennsylvania Bar Association.

All
members of the North Penn Chamber of Commerce are entitled to
a full listing of their company name, address and phone numbers
on the chamber's on-line Membership Directory. Cost for that inclusion,
as well as a hyperlink to a member's Website and e-mail through
the chamber's Website is included in the annual dues investment.
Members who
wish to upgrade their listing on the chamber's Website may add
a 25-word boxed advertisement below their company listing for
only $60.00 annually. That advertisement may be edited and updated
without additional cost or penalty.

When you support
the chamber through membership, you support an organization dedicated
to improvement of the communities that comprise the North Penn
and Indian Valley Region. If you never have time to attend one
event at the chamber, your investment makes it possible for us
to serve community interests. Each April, the chamber's Community
Reading Day reaches out to some 2,000-second grade students when
business leaders individually read and donate books to local elementary
classrooms. In May, some 3,000 members, families and friends of
the chamber will attend North Penn Chamber Night at the Reading
Phillies free of charge, courtesy of the chamber. And the North
Penn Chamber is the only chamber in Pennsylvania that hosts Annual
Banquets for our local law enforcement and police officers (in
the spring) and volunteer fire departments and emergency service
organizations (in the fall). The chamber is dedicated to serving
the community.

How to you
increase your business contacts? Networking! With over 900 members,
The North Penn Chamber of Commerce is one of the largest chamber
of commerce in Montgomery and one of the most active chambers
in the region. By attending chamber functions, luncheons and events,
you have an opportunity to make new business contacts and network
with some of the North Penn area's most successful business people.
Each month, the chamber sponsors North Penn Networks, a business-card
exchange, at interesting locations such as Hatfield Quality Meats,
and the beautiful Joseph Ambler Inn. The chamber also sponsors
"Good Morning North Penn!" morning business card mixers
at interesting locales.

Since 1996,
the Chamber Women's Network has developed an expanded agenda of
events that further its mission "to support and elevate women
in business." The group has rapidly developed into one of
the most successful and dynamic programs in the chamber. The Chamber
Women's Network provides North Penn businesswomen with an opportunity
to network among influential women business leaders. Each month
featured speakers discuss issues relevant to women in business.
Nearly 100 women attended the Third Anniversary of Chamber Women's
Network, with featured a local news anchor. Additionally, each
year the group hosts an auction, with proceeds benefiting non-profit
organizations in the North Penn area.

Throughout
the halls of the legislature in Harrisburg, our chamber has become
known as an advocate for North Penn businesses. In the last several
years, our Governmental Affairs Committee has successfully lobbied
for worker's compensation reform and lower net income taxes for
businesses. The chamber is your source for legislative news affecting
business. We keep our members informed and work closely with area
legislators to make Pennsylvania more competitive for business.

In this era
of the market economy and absentee shareholders, the chamber is
attempting to do something about local businesses. Too frequently
we hear of corporate mergers, downsizing, and companies planning
to move to seemingly greener pastures. The chamber's Economic
Development Committee works to create an environment to attract
new business and retain existing business, while maintaining the
quality of life for the North Penn area. When you support the
chamber, you support these community efforts. The committee recently
produced an attractive public relations brochure promoting the
benefits of the North Penn region.

Each month
the chamber offers exciting seminars and workshops aimed at helping
small businesses. Recent topics included: Building Your Business
With Referrals; Using Print Media to Your Advantage; ABC's of
Small Business Planning; Marketing; Export Opportunities; Media
Crisis Management; as well as regular Human Resource Roundtable
sessions at which chamber members are encouraged to discuss their
HR problems with member HR professionals. Education about business
management is a prime function of the North Penn Chamber of Commerce.

The entire
cost of your membership could be recouped if you take advantage
of our Member Advertising rates. The Reporter, Montgomery Newspapers,
Courier News Weekly, The Intelligencer Record, WNPV Radio, Suburban
and Adelphia Cable TV systems all offer a 20% discount to new
members. That savings in advertising alone could pay for the cost
of your chamber investment. Also, many chamber members offer member-to-member
discounts in The Resource Guide.

The North
Penn Chamber offers our own exclusive direct-mail package - The
Chamber Insider. If you've been searching for a cost-effective
way to get your products and services in front of key business
decision makers in the North Penn region, this quarterly business-to-business
direct-mail opportunity is for you. For only $195, the chamber
staff will do all the work, inserting your brochure or flyer in
an attractive package for mailing. All you have to do is deliver
1100 flyers or brochures to the chamber offices and the staff
will go to work for your business.

Our monthly
newsletter Prospector is considered by many to be the most attractive
and relevant member newsletter in Southeastern Pennsylvania. Prospector
offers members the opportunity to advertise in a professional
publication read each month by 1300 business leaders throughout
the North Penn region and beyond. Other opportunities for promotion
and advertising are available through sponsorships of major chamber
events.

The chamber's
monthly agenda would not be possible except for the "hands-on"
participation of our members. When you join the chamber, you are
eligible to serve on chamber committees and to have direct involvement
in the planning of activities. In addition to the rewards of serving
a community-minded organization, chamber committee members are
also afforded additional opportunities to network, promote business
and make new friends.

Each year,
the North Penn Chamber sponsors annual programs and events intended
to highlight and promote our membership and to serve the North
Penn community at large. Among the annual events held at our chamber
are the following: Annual Banquet and Awards Ceremony; Business
Fair and Expo, Featuring A Taste of North Penn; Community Reading
Day; Reading Phillies Day; Job Fair; Annual Golf Outing; Secretaries
Day Luncheon; Fire Prevention Week Banquet honoring North Penn
Fireman and Emergency Volunteers; OctoberFest Expo; Miniature
Golf Tournament and Picnic; and, the Law Enforcement Week Banquet
honoring North Penn police and law enforcement officers. These
events are made possible through the generosity of members of
the chamber and offer additional exposure to participating businesses.
